Love Candles?

Do you love candles in your home....the aroma, warmth and cozy feeling? We know you do and so do we.

Here are some great safety tips for burning candles in your home or business.

1. Trim the wick before lighting to 1/4 inch. This will keep the flame lower and also extend the life of your candle. 

2. To light use a long match or lighter to avoid getting burned.

3. Dispose of match properly.

4.  Keep the candle in sight.  This avoids an accidental fire or forgetting the candle when you leave or go to bed. 

5. Pick the perfect spot.  Choose a stable, heat resistant surface. 

6. Don't burn for more than 4 hours. This can cause wick to become unstable and flame to burn higher.

7. Extinguish properly. Suffocate the flame to avoid wax splatters.

These are just a few simple step to help you enjoy those beautiful, great smelling candles!
